Repetitive stress issues
Having been practicing Rolfing for nearly 20 years I have come to love working with really messed up bodies. Ones who have had crazy accidents, reconstructive surgeries, and the people that are lucky to be alive. The people who have tried everything to get better and have given up hope. The bodies that make me think and give me more of a challenge!
When I was 4 my mother had a stroke that paralysed the right side of her body. She was in the hospital for a long time and had to relearn to speak and do the basic things we take for granted such as getting dressed. Her recovery was long and growing up I watched her try different alternatives over the years that really helped and I guess that became the norm. I grew up helping her and didn't really realize until later in life that doesn't come natural to everyone. I must say helping others comes natural to me so I do feel in my element with the work I have chosen. I like results and using my time wisely. So when I find things that work I love to share with those I know. This is this reason I did my training for Rolfing and now for EFT (tapping).
Ive always liked being active and getting things done. Now that I have children of my own I love going on adventures with my boys. Snowboarding, mountain biking, camping, walking our dog, yoga, gardening, yardwork are some of the things I do regularly.
